I'm never quite that hot on her studio versions, but she knocks me out live. Also, I'm a total sucker for rock songs that also incorporate a string quartet, and I think this version does that really well. (And it's heartbreaking, jeez.) This does remind me a lot of the 90s style -- softLOUDsoft, I think she's shaking off the Swift influence pretty well (you see what I did there. Yes, you do).

Found this on my recommendations page the other day and instantly fell in love. It feels like it was made by a vocaloid producer—high praise from me. On top of the music being bangin', the MV is to die for. Very beautiful low-poly animation that stays fresh all the way through. If not for the music, watch it for the MV alone.

This is a cover of a Kate Bush song that was originally released in 2010.

"Messer" is Mitch Grassi, one of the five members of the vocal group Pentatonix. This was released last month, but he actually recorded the vocal 6 years ago. Grassi would have been in high school when the Kate Bush original was released.
